Pedestrian Facility/ADA Compliance Reconstruction - Erie County - The project consisted of the upgrade of pedestrian facilities to ADA compliance along an urban principal arterial. The project is located through a densely developed commercial and residential area. Design work consisted of sidewalk, curb ramp and driveway design and details, drainage adjustment, traffic signal upgrades, E&S measures and traffic control layout. Structure design work was done to accommodate two (2) retaining walls. Early comprehensive utility involvement was an integral part of ensuring the project design could be accommodated with minimal impacts.
